Update: After starting a fresh campaign and lowering the visual settings, some setting to 'Medium' and fog to 'low,' I managed to play past where the game started crashing before. The other issue that I have had is with the game getting stuck on the powers selection screen, pressing escape and then returning to the game sorts out that glitch. I am on the mission with the sewer, train station and the black market. I ran a cache integrity check, but this was 100% okay. And because I played more than an hour, I can't ask a refund.Ĩ hours in and Dishonored 2 starts crashing to desktop, the only changes I made since the last time I played it was add the 'Imperial Assassin's Pack' DLC to the game. It's getting really annoying to play that game juste because of theses constant problems.
Now I want to know how you guys fixed that because the 1.2 patch didn't solve sh*t. That's not an usual download, that's a download I can only see it on the library and not in the update/download section of steam. And each time steam download something on Dishonored 2. The sound continued, but the image would just freeze then continue as if nothing went bad. Notes, newspapers, books, deaths (mine), log and title screens made my game freeze for a good 10 seconds EACH TIME. and it was fine until I reached the first house swarmed with these bloody insects: The first mission of Dishonored 2 went well, it was perfect, really smooth and all. I play with everything on ultra in borderless windowed mode. I have a i7 4790K and a GTX1080, my computer has 16 Go Ram, I have windows 7 SP1 and my nvidia is up to date, so is my C library, my other drivers and such.
